Description

An established manufacturer of security shop fronts based in Birmingham requires an experienced site labourer / van driver. Duties: You will be delivering shop front material to sites thoughout the UK in a 3.5 tonne van. Working in the factory when not required for driving. Collecting goods from suppliers. Ensuring vehicle is kept road worthy and safe at all times. On site you will be assisting the shop fitter using hand and power tools. Cutting wood to length, screwing in fittings, using an angle grinder and other hand tools. Removing all waste from site and disposing into allocated skips. This job involves manual handling and would suit someone with experience of site work. There are 1 to 2 paid nights out a week. Requirements: Full UK driving licence. CSCS card required. Advanced DBS check required. Delivery van experience. Labouring, use of hand and power tools, and manual handling experience. Hours: Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours to 55 hours per week, Early starts. This is a permanent position that starts immediately.
